ARTWORK REQUIREMENT

• To facilitate speed of your order, electronic production-ready
artwork should be supplied if available.
• Production-ready art will have high black and white
contrast, with no grays or gradients. It should be crisp and
sharp without need for further touch-up, design, color
separation, trapping, or rearranging for use.
• We cannot use pre-screened/pre-tinted, or half-toned
artwork. Thin lines and reverses may not reproduce at the
thickness or size submitted and small copy may not remain
legible.
• Licensed artwork will require a written release. Submitted
artwork must be in full compliance with all copyright and/or
trademark laws, etc.
• Artwork received may be altered slightly to meet product
specifications or to adapt to imprinting processes. Any
alterations could delay the scheduled ship date.
• Font minimum point size for copy is 6 point.

PREFERRED ARTWORK FORMATS

• Digitally submitted artwork can be accepted in the following
formats:
o Adobe Illustrator (.ai), ( .pdf) (.eps)
o Photoshop (.psd), (.tif) create at 1200 dpi
• Please remember to convert all fonts to outlines.

ART CHARGES

• The first 30 minutes are at no charge, additional time spent
will be at $35.00(g) per hour. Charges may be assessed to
make submitted artwork reproducible with our imprinting
methods. Slight modification to artwork will not be charged
for. Additional charge must be authorized before work is
begun.
• The factory reserves the right to determine if artwork is
production-ready when received.

BLANK STOCK

• Catalog prices include an advertising imprint. All items are
available in blank stock at the next higher quantity price.
Allow 2 production days.

CANCELLATIONS

• Cost incurred will be charged. Minimum charge $20.00(g).
• Written documentation must be sent to confirm the
cancellation.

CHANGE OF COPY

• Add $12.00(g) per change. Catalog minimums apply per
copy change.
• Change of copy may incur additional production time.

CHANGE OF IMPRINT COLOR

• No Charge. Catalog minimums apply per change of imprint
color and need to be in the same imprint location.
• Change of imprint color may incur additional production
time.

EXACT QUANTITY

• No charge. If exact quantity is required it will be at no charge.
• The purchase order must state “Exact Quantity”.

LESS THAN MINIMUM

• Add $35.00(g). Absolute minimum is one half of the
minimum catalog quantity.

OVERRUNS AND UNDERRUNS

• We reserve the right to ship and bill 5% over and under on
catalog items; 10% over and under on special stock items.

PMS COLOR MATCH

• If imprint specifies a PMS color or match to sample color,
add $35.00(g) for each color per item, including repeat
orders. To receive the closest PMS color match, printing
on a white background or item is recommended. We can
custom mix colors for you based on the current version of
the Pantone Matching System (PMS). We cannot guarantee
exact color matches. There could be a slight variance of color
in what you are requesting.

PRODUCT COLOR

• Cedar Crest Mfg. has attempted to portray product colors
in the catalog as accurately as is possible; however, because
of the color reproduction in printing, the product color may
differ slightly from the catalog. If clarification of product
color is required, please request a random sample.
• Custom Product Colors: Please contact customer service for
product details. Production time, price, and delivery vary
depending on item.

PRODUCTION-READY ORDER REQUIREMENTS

• A production-ready order must be for catalog quantity only
and include:
o P.O. number o Imprint color
o Production-ready artwork o Item number
o Item color and description o Quantity
o Shipping method o Shipping address
o Copy layout
o Approval of proof (if proof is requested)
o Approved credit or CWO
o Imprint must be one standard color in one listed location
and product packed in standard packaging.

PRODUCTION TIME

• 4-Day Ship Service (unless otherwise specified): Items routinely ship in 4 working days,
beginning the first day after receipt of production-ready order.
• Add one day for each additional imprint color and/or each
additional location

PROOFS IF REQUESTED

• Paper Proofs: NO CHARGE. Production time for a paper
proof is 2 working days.
• Product Proofs: $20.00(g) each. Production time for a
product proof is 4 working days.
• Production time for order starts upon proof approval.

PROPOSITION 65 LABELING

• If customer requests Prop 65 labeling, add $.08(g) per
piece. Orders must be marked “Prop 65 labeling”.
• Labeling may incur additional production time.

RETURN POLICY

• No returns will be accepted after 90 days from shipment
of product. Cedar Crest Mfg. has the authority to
modify products as needed to assure quality and product
availability.

RUSH SERVICE

• Please contact customer service. Rush charge will apply.
• Subject to factory capacity and inventory levels.

SHIPPING

• In Hands Date: All orders should specify an “IN HANDS”
date including the shipment method. If shipping method is
not specified, Cedar Crest Mfg. reserves the right to ship by
whatever method necessary to meet the “IN HANDS” date.
Cedar Crest Mfg. does not guarantee the delivery by any carrier.
• C.O.D. Policy: Cedar Crest Mfg. does not accept C.O.D. orders.
• Drop Shipments: First 5 drop locations at no charge.
Additional drops at $10.00(g) each shipment. Drop
shipments may incur additional production time. Please
supply address on Excel spreadsheet.
• Split Shipments: No charge. Catalog minimums apply per
split shipment. All shipments must be complete by March 1,
2013.
• Terms of Sale: F.O.B. Factory, Cedar Crest Mfg. utilizes
“small package” carriers UPS and Federal Express for
shipping customer orders. Freight charges are added to
customer invoice at published rates.
• Third Party Shipments: Add $5.00(x). A valid third
party account number, billing address, and carrier contact
information are required on purchase order. Failure to
provide adequate information will result in Cedar Crest
Mfg. shipping via house carrier and billing freight on invoice.
• International Orders: Required paperwork will incur an
additional $15.00(g) documentation fee.
• Consignee Billing: Cedar Crest Mfg. does not accept
consignee billing.
• Shipping Weights: Shipping weights found within this
catalog are estimated and may vary slightly.

• $20.00(g) per item. Cost of transportation added if 1 or 2
day air requested.

• By placing an order with Cedar Crest Mfg., you represent
and warrant that you have the authority to order, purchase
and/or distribute merchandise containing the names,
trademarks, copyrights, logos, etc., specified and/or
submitted with your order. You also consent to indemnify,
defend and hold harmless Cedar Crest Mfg. and its
affiliates and representatives, from and against all claims,
liabilities and expenses, including attorney fees, arising
out of or related to any actual or alleged infringement or
misappropriation of any copyright, trademark or any other
proprietary right of such merchandise. This provision will
remain in effect after delivery of your merchandise.

needed to assure quality and product availability.

PRODUCT REGULATORY

• Cedar Crest Mfg. is committed to ensuring ongoing
compliance with all applicable regulations including
California Proposition 65.
• We will employ reasonable practices to insure our outgoing
products are compliant, including review of product
formulations, inspection of source plants, and in many
cases additional toxicology testing of product samples to
ensure product compliancy.
